EP on the 7th Great Picnic - European and World Regions
On Sunday, 20th June 2010, 7th Great Picnic - European and World Regions took place on the area of Castle Park in Pszczyna. The event was organized by the Consulate of the Republic of Slovenia in Mysłowice, by the Polish Television and by the municipal authorities of Pszczyna. It is one of the biggest events of the type in southern Poland. During the Picnic apart from many attractions such as: sports walk under the patronage of Robert Korzeniowski, air shows, ZOO exposition, performance of Marcin Daniec, Ewelina Flinta and several regional bands, there also was an action to remind of an important social and political event - a tree was planted to commemorate 30th anniversary of establishing Solidarity.
Apart from that, ambassies and consulates of several dozen countries were presented during the event - the exhibition stands offered not only information booklets, but one could also buy bibelots characteristic for the given country.
So apart from the amateurs of fun outside, many persons from the world of culture, business and politics gathered at the picnic.
The presence of EP at the event important for many persons allowed the company to present itself to wide range of persons from various environments and once again show that we are everywhere where something interesting takes place.
