2nd European Economic Congress 2010

On 31st May 2010 in Katowice, the 2nd European Economic Congress - one of the most important business events organised in the Central Europe - was open. For three days (from 31st May to 2nd June), the capital city of Silesian Province will host numerous notable figures representing the world of business, economy and politics to whom an occasion was provided to exchange their opinions on the most current problems of the Silesian region as well as Poland and Europe.

4 thousand guests, nearly 700 speakers and several dozen sessions panel discussions, great interest of the domestic and international media - these and many other features make the Congress such an exceptional event.

The prestige of the event is even higher since it is organised under the honorary patronage of José Manuela Barroso - President of the European Commission. Both the matters discussed at the Congress and its organisation are managed by the Organising Committee - a Patronage Council under the honorary patronage of Jerzy Buzek - President of the European Parliament.

We are happy to inform you that one of the companies supporting the 2nd European Economic Congress was also Energomontaż-Południe SA. The Company sponsored the session entitled "Strategies of the Polish government for the fuel and power market" (1st June 2010 - Monopol Hotel, Katowice, hours: 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.).

The President of Energomontaż-Południe SA, Mr. Andrzej Hołda, will be one of the experts to speak under the session entitled "Infrastructure/Construction/Real Estate" when various aspects related to the power industry as a sector promising for the construction industry are to be discussed (1st June 2010 - Silesian Provincial Office, Katowice, hours: 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.).
