On 23rd September 2009, in the very heart of the Warsaw Stock Exchange - the prestigious Trading Hall, a joint press conference of Energomontaż-Południe S.A. and PBG S.A. was held. The meeting was dedicated to the investment agreement concluded on 21st September 2009 and the partnership-based collaboration initiated between both companies. Mr. Jerzy Wiśniewski, President of PBG S.A., and Mr. Andrzej Hołda, President of Energomontaż-Południe S.A., appeared together to present the collaboration plans and the development strategy.

 

 

According to Mr. Andrzej Hołda, the alliance the companies have made is a truly historic moment for the Katowice-based corporation, and the future collaboration is expected to bring mutual benefits.
The companies are going to build a strong power engineering group and PBG is a guarantee that, in the event of further acquisitions in the industry, Energomontaż will become the centre of the sector consolidation. The collaboration is a promise of gaining capital for funding of the company's further development and an opportunity to win high-value contracts due to the marketing and financial potential of the PBG S.A. group. Energomontaż will also face the chance to become involved in contracts related to organisation of Euro 2012.
Owing to the collaboration established, PBG S.A. is planning to extend their activity in the power engineering industry and Energomontaż-Południe S.A. is a guarantee of high competences and winning contracts in this sector.

In accordance with the agreement, PBG S.A., as a sector investor, will take over a package of 25% + 1 share after the capital increase.
