Concluding an agreement with Steinmüller Instandsetzung Kraftwerke GmbH company

The Management Board of Energomontaż-Południe S.A. (the Issuer, the Company) informs that on 10 March 2009 the Company concluded an agreement with a German company Steinmüller Instandsetzung Kraftwerke GmbH, and its subject matter concerns the realisation of reconstruction works on the pressure part of the boiler No. 4 in Bełchatów S.A. Power Plant by the Issuer. Value of the concluded contract equals PLN 10.52 million. Works, which are the subject matter of the contract shall be realised until mid August 2009. The contract anticipates fines for delays in the realisation of the subject matter, and the maximum value of these fines equals 9% of the contract value.
The contract does not fulfil the criterion of significant contract, nonetheless its value oscillates around 10% threshold of Issuer equities. Conclusion of the contract constitutes a realisation of the strategy, as far as the increase of Company sales within the scope of basic activity is concerned. Estimated value of the Company order portfolio taking into consideration the contract, of which mention has been made before, amounts up to about PLN 387.9 million (the portfolio contains export orders in the amount of EUR 55.3 million), including the portfolio for the year 2009 amounts to about PLN 287.6 million (the portfolio contains export orders realised in the year 2009 in the amount of EUR 30.6 million). The value of the portfolio was calculated on the basis of Euro exchange rates accepted by the Issuer to calculate orders.
