Assembly of girders commenced !
Date: 04.09.2010On 2nd April 2010 Energomontaż-Południe S.A. commenced the assembly of one of two elements of a 35 metres high 32-ton girder at the Football Stadium in Gdańsk-Letnica (Euro 2012) however the weight of a complete girder will come to 63 tons.
On 2nd April 2010, Energomontaż-Południe S.A. commenced the assembly of one of two elements of a 35 metres high 32-ton girder at the Football Stadium in Gdańsk-Letnica (Euro 2012), however, the weight of a complete girder will come to 63 tons.
Due to the dimensions of this element, the assembly requires using two cranes of hoisting capacities of 50 and 400 tons. Each girder will consist of two elements to be joined directly at the Stadium. The roof structure will be composed of 82 girders which, after being assembled, will create the Stadium's characteristic form.
